I attended a wedding here. The venue itself is beautiful, modern, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. From the moment we arrived, the valet service was a complete mess. There was no valet attendant in sight, forcing my husband and me to pay for parking. Later, I saw one employee trying to manage a long line of waiting vehicles, and another guest told me they waited over 40 minutes to get their car. It was clearly understaffed and poorly organized. The biggest issue, however, was the temperature inside the venue. It was unbearably hot for the entire event. I personally asked staff multiple times to check the air conditioning, as did many other guests, but nothing changed. Regardless of the number of guests, a wedding venue should never be that uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the security staff behaved unprofessionally by dancing with guests instead of doing their job. It gave the impression that the event was poorly managed from start to finish. I really enjoyed the aesthetics of the venue.. it’s a beautiful space with a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, the valet experience took away from an otherwise enjoyable evening. Waiting in line for over 40 minutes to valet my car was frustrating, and having to wait another 30 minutes after the event because my vehicle couldn’t be located was very disappointing. It felt disorganized and unprofessional. I was also surprised to see members of the security team dancing with guests throughout the event. While it’s great to see people enjoying themselves, I expected security to remain focused on maintaining a safe and professional environment.

Blown away! I came for the Montclair sample sale, but I’m definitely coming back to host something there. LED screen is crazy. But what really impressed me was the staff I met the owner, real cool dude and seems very genuine about bringing something amazing to Jersey City. Please believe summertime we are on that rooftop!

my recent experience with Vanilla Skies, which was far from satisfactory. The issues began with the misrepresentation of several terms in my client's contract that were asked to be removed from your facility and given to my company. One of the most significant points of contention is the $550 cork fee you were charging, even though alcohol was not being sold. According to Jersey City ABC and the State of NJ, this is illegal for your facility to charge clients. Security guards at $233 each told they needed 3 plus, another $1500 in other staff and decor charges. You also did not allow her to bring in a photobooth or her own event insurance, forcing us to use the facilities which were extremely high. Regarding the time to decorate and the inconvenience caused, your contract initially stated 5 hours the night before or the morning of the event for $550, with us being notified 2 weeks before of availability. You then changed after all the extras were removed from contract stating we only get 2 hours day of additional hours would be $550 per hour.
